Daniel is a dedicated professional with a diverse background that spans software engineering, IT consulting, and digital transformation. Initially specializing in medical imaging software, he had the opportunity to work with previous generations of artificial intelligence early in his career. This interest in AI deepened through subsequent roles, including a tenure in the video games industry with a US-based company and as a digitalization and process consultant in the HR and recruiting sector.

Currently serving as Senior Open Source Advisor at Deutsche Telekom AG’s Open Source Program Office, Daniel combines technical expertise with a legal perspective on intellectual property rights and strategic knowledge of the open source ecosystems. This role inspired a pivot towards the intersection of technology and law, prompting him to begin a law degree in autumn 2020. After completing the degree in early 2024, Daniel decided to pursue a Doctorate in Law, researching AI & Law in the European Union.
