Dr. Ravishankar Sharma is a Professor of Information Systems, Technology, and Management at Zayed University, Abu Dhabi. With a robust academic foundation including a BSc, MSc, PhD, and CEng (UK), Dr. Sharma brings extensive expertise from both academia and industry. His career includes faculty appointments in New Zealand, Singapore, and Canada, alongside a decade as an ICT consultant with notable firms like Deutsche Telekom and IBM Global Services. Dr. Sharma is a recognized expert in applying design science methods to emerging platforms like blockchain, big data analytics, and the sharing economy. His research contributions are well-documented through numerous publications in prestigious journals. Dr. Sharma is a Fellow of the IET, a Senior Scholar of the AIS, and actively involved in teaching areas such as IT Entrepreneurship and IT Project Management. His ongoing research interests are primarily in digital innovation and enterprise.
