Dr. Grigore Stamatescu is a distinguished Professor in the Department of Automation and Industrial Informatics at the University „Politehnica” of Bucharest. With a Ph.D. focused on reliable wireless sensor networks and postdoctoral research in multi-sensory intelligent environments, his career is marked by international research and innovation, including a Fulbright Scholarship at the University of California, Merced. His work spans networked embedded sensing and IoT, with significant contributions to energy management and cyber-physical systems. A senior member of IEEE and author of over 130 publications, Grigore is deeply involved in scientific community leadership and collaboration on various European projects. His honors include two best paper awards and leadership roles in significant IEEE conferences and workshops.
