Leonid Mill is the Co-Founder and CTO of MIRA Vision Microscopy, a pioneering company in AI and image analysis, a role he has adeptly held since April 2021. His work focuses on developing cutting-edge microscopic technologies that integrate artificial intelligence to enhance imaging precision and analysis.

Parallel to his entrepreneurial endeavors, Leonid is a dedicated PhD candidate at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg, where he has been researching since October 2017. His academic journey is complemented by his position as a Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter at the Institute for Optics, Information, and Photonics at FAU Erlangen – Nürnberg, further deepening his expertise in photonics and optics from October 2017 to March 2019.

Leonid’s early professional experiences include significant roles at reputable institutions such as the Fraunhofer IISB and the Max Planck Institute for the Science of Light, where he contributed to various research projects and developed a solid foundation in his field.
