Lisette Espin-Noboa

Lisette Espin-Noboa is a postdoctoral researcher at the Complexity Science Hub and Central European University, where she specializes in Computational Social Science with a focus on Network Science and AI for social good. Her work is dedicated to addressing the UN Sustainable Development Goals, specifically through defining fairness in social networks and creating poverty maps using diverse data sources, including satellite imagery. Previously, Lisette completed her Ph.D. at GESIS, where she explored the impacts of network structure on various computational models. Her research is pivotal in understanding and implementing effective strategies that leverage technology to tackle some of the world’s most pressing issues.
