Pavol is the managing partner of Paul Q, a position he has held for over 30 years. He has extensive legal experience and leads teams of Slovak and international lawyers in the most significant transactions in Slovakia. He has represented the Slovak government and investors in privatisations in the financial and manufacturing sectors. Pavol also represents private investors, sellers and other clients in negotiating and closing various projects, including acquisitions and other business transactions. He specialises in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, and advises companies on the negotiation of complex contracts. He is also deeply involved in the impact of artificial intelligence and large-scale language models on legal practice, exploring how these technologies can improve the efficiency and accuracy of legal services.
Pavol has extensive experience in intellectual property and media law. Throughout his career, he has been widely recognised for his expertise and ability to manage complex legal projects. He was educated at Comenius University, where he obtained a Master’s degree, and Matej Bel University, where he obtained a Doctor of Laws degree. He is a member of the Slovak Bar Association and was a member of the Government Council for Mass Media from 2003 to 2005. Pavol is fluent in English and Slovak, enabling him to communicate effectively with both domestic and international clients and partners.
