Philip Hackett K.C
President, the Geneva International Dispute Resolution Institute
"As Chair of the AI for Developing Countries Forum, I eagerly invite more colleagues to join us in our mission, confident that together, we can leverage AI to make a significant positive impact on the world."
Philip Hackett KC is President of GIDI. He has over 30 years of experience in international commercial disputes, specialising in international trade and financial regulation. Appointed as Queen’s Counsel in 1999, he is passionate about finding alternative forms of international dispute resolution that lead to economic and expeditious solutions rather than conventional forms of litigation. He believes that the unique philosophy and procedures of GIDI can achieve this.
The Legal 500 2021 described him as “extremely knowledgeable and tenacious, with exceptional attention to detail, and in 2002 as “steeped in top experience in the most difficult and high-profile fraud cases – hugely intelligent, a strong, versatile and fearless advocate”.
