Rebecca Andersen
Rebecca Andersen is a dual-qualified English Barrister, Arbitrator, Advocate & Solicitor, and Counsel. She is also a Certified Sanctions Specialist and a Law Scholar of the Royal Charter, holding a Doctorate Law Research Scholarship. As a Visiting Law Lecturer, she contributes her expertise at a university in England. Rebecca is an associate member of Six Pump Court, Barristers’ Chambers, in London and is listed as an arbitrator in the LCIA Database of Arbitrators, the Maxwell Chambers Directory of Singapore, and Arbitral Women. She serves on the panel of arbitrators under ICC Case Connect, the Singapore International Arbitration Center (SIAC) (Reserve Panel), AIAC, and AIADR, and is a fellow arbitrator of the SIArb, MIArb, and AIADR.
Appointed by judges in Singapore, she participates in several committees including the Promotion of Singapore Law Committee and the Commercial Precedents Committee under the Singapore Academy of Law (SAL), where she sits on the Editorial Board. Rebecca led the International Trade Sub-Committee which was instrumental in setting up, producing, and launching Project SGCOMTRADE—a set of industry business contract templates for commodities (coal) under different INCOTERMS in the Asia Pacific region.
