Susan Crickenberger is the Chief People & Operating Officer for Blue River Technology (a subsidiary of John Deere & Co.) and has been with the company for over 5 years. With nearly 2 decades of experience in building organizations across various industries, Susan is driven by a profound motivation to make a difference in the world. She believes in building and enabling Mission First organizations that innovate and solve monumental challenges serving humanity. Susan’s philosophy, which she calls “hippy capitalism,” is rooted in the conviction that if you invest so much of yourself into anything, you should do it with excellence and for a purpose that makes the world a better place.
Throughout her career, she has built world-class tech organizations and is an experienced global people leader. Her expertise extends to leading culture transformations and managing large-scale organizational changes and enabling “0-1 internal start up tech programs”. Susan has learned from and led with top leaders from prestigious companies in various sectors.
Prior to joining Blue River Technology, Susan ran her own consulting firm, where she supported organizations and helped growing startups develop their People Strategies and programs. Her dedication to excellence and purposeful work continues to drive her efforts in creating impactful and innovative solutions that benefit humanity.
